IM Vladimir Bukal

My name is Vladimir Bukal. I am an International Master and Fide Trainer from Croatia born in 1975.My Fide rating is 2396.

I started playing chess at the age of 4 and haven't stopped ever since.I am an International Master since 1998.

I've been coaching since the beginning of the century and in 2007. I was awarded the title of FIDE Trainer.

Besides chess I'm interested in all sorts of sports,especially football which in my youth (until the knee injury) i trained seriously and NBA.Also,I'm an avid reader and filmophile.

I have become IM before the computer era in chess and have formed myself as a player mostly by reading chess books. I prefer dynamic chess and with my students, I try to develop intuition and dynamic way of thinking.

I use my coaching experience for the individual approach to each student based on their playing strength,ambitions and goals.For the lessons I use Skype and Lichess.
