Hi! I'm a 38-year-old GM from Hamburg, Germany, and - among other things - you might know me from chessemy.com and chess24. I cover the complete range of topics in chess training. I consider teaching students how to train chess the right way and supporting their autonomous training to be one of the most essential duties of a good chess coach.

I like to focus on teaching strategic reasoning and optimising the general thinking and decision making processes of my students.
My opening specialities include the French and the Philidor Defense, the Benko Gambit, the Hedgehog and a flexible Reti/English repertoire.
