44 years old, GM from France living in the austrian mountains. I was in the past a full-time pro (check your database :)) but becoming father several years ago, I decided to play less and to teach more.
I gained a lot of experience playing and analysing with strong GM's and I'm happy to share it with my students.

I started to teach chess 25 years ago! At that time, I was working on a weekly basis for a club and had also private students. Since I left France several years ago, I teach almost exclusively online.

I have a lot of respect for chess and feel comfortable seeking for the truth in classical openings and endgames. As a trainer, I'm able to adapt to the needs of my students.

I always start by analysing seriously the games of my students. The goal is to find some recurrent mistakes and to work on it (very often, the simple fact to find them is enough to improve!). After that, I show some methods to work on chess alone (yes, without me!). The idea is simple: if you know what and how to study between our sessions, you will improve much faster. My goal is to be efficient and I try to avoid to show some chess content that you can find and understand alone (I give homework in this case). Instead, we will focus on the right steps to follow to analyse your own games and build an opening repertoire according to various criterias (time available, abilities, style...). "En passant", we will also discuss how to take better practical decisions. Chess is really deep and to sum up, I try to be the coach that I didn't have!
