IM Nico Zwirs

I am Nico Zwirs, 27 years old and living in Amsterdam.

Few years ago I decided to quit my job and give myself a chance to become a GM. One of the first things I did was searching for a good trainer, which I found in the person of GM Erwin l'Ami. He really helped me on my weaknesses and to focus on my strengths. I valued this a lot and became a much better player.

So now I'm willing to do the same and offer you the chance to become a much better version of yourself and surprise yourself with your amazing results!

Chesstrainer for more than a decade.

My pupils were always in the top places on the Dutch Youth Championships.
Have also been training a lot of groups with different strengths and ages.

I do a lot of sports and also coached some friends. Most of the time outdoor bootcamp.

Currently learning how to program websites and a bitcoin/blockchain fan.

Expert field:
Attacking chess.
Open Sicilian from both sides.
Good knowledge about chessengines, Lc0, Stockfish, etc.
I always work with both of them.

Together we will spot your weaknesses, eliminate them and find ways to explore your strengths.

Online lessons are €50,- per hour and you're able to contact me for questions at every time of the day. For example about openings during tournament preparation.
