Getting Black 3 or 4 X! I have been kicked-off Lichess innumerable times ...

I hope there's a way to modify the algorithm that determines black / white ratio to not take into account casual games. I'm all on board to stop people abusing white for rating points, but I feel the vast majority of people would really appreciate the option when setting up casual games.
Just played one game as Black. Then I was presented with Black AGAIN 4x and got banned. You can certainly say this about "the algorithm" ... it's Black obsessed. Odd that a computer program cannot adapt. Is 4x the standard for "fairness"? Question is: when will they ban me from commenting?
Algorithm is not obsesses. It simply evening out the extraneous amount whites pieces you had in past. It will take some time so just relax and play. Nothing you can do about it. Posting here wont change anything as development team surely has seen 10+ threads about "why am I getting black" and chosen not to react.

Likewise the black/white choice in the lobby will not come back.

Why are you so surprised? Let me reiterate what I've said two weeks ago:
>if you will continue aborting games, you will continue getting playbans

Also, I'm pretty sure you would get the same color again when you abort, so what you are doing is just meaninglessly wasting your time.
Evidently, my point about "fairness" was too subtle.

Assume: the algorithm is "fair"; that is, a player gets to play half as White, half as Black. Therefore, I SHOULD be getting half White, half Black. Somehow, the "fairness" of the algorithm has previously given me too many opportunities to play White. Which would you say it is: system error or favoritism? Either way, it ain't fair. I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE ALGORITHM OTHER THAN TO REJECT PLAYING TOO MANY TURNS AS BLACK. THEREFORE, I AM BEING PENALIZED ... UNFAIRLY. You CANNOT conclude otherwise.

"... so what you are doing is just meaninglessly wasting your time."

Somebody pointed-out that Lichess no longer offers the option to only play White; so someone (or .... something: spooky, spooky, spooky ... ghost in the machine) is responding to my comments.

There's simple, and there's simple: the easiest, most granular feature of ANY system is the ability to set a flag - one bit (literally) that indicates "just played white", or "just played black". YOU DON'T NEED AN ALGORITHM TO DETECT AND ACT ON A FLAG. A flag identifies white or black WITHOUT FAIL OR QUESTION. Once you detect the white or black flag, you go to your queue and grab the next player with the OPPOSITE FLAG within the rating bracket, and activate the game module. THAT'S ALL FOLKS! THAT'S IT! THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO CREATE A FAIR PLAYING SYSTEM. But, I doubt the software guys, gals and ???'s want to mess with the existing code ... other than disable the "Play White Only" feature.

Got it, now?

No, you are being penalized because you are aborting games, which you cannot do excessively. Not only this is done fairly, this will repeat and duration of the playban will increase with each new infraction.
