About me
I am a Grandmaster from India, currently residing in the United Kingdom.
Playing experience
I started learning chess at the age of 4 from my father and began playing tournaments at the age of 5. I have won several medals at the National, Asian and World youth championships in various categories (U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-16). I became an International Master (IM) in 2013 at the age of 16. After that, I had to slow down my chess career in order to concentrate on academics. I secured the Grandmaster (GM) title in 2019 and have been active in chess once again.
Teaching experience
I have reached this level without any coaching from any external trainers and I have always trained myself in all aspects of the game. I have been training students for the past 6 years and I have a very deep understanding of the game. Some of my students have won various state championships and finished in the top 5 in national youth championships. I have also briefly worked with Prithu Gupta who went on to become the 64th GM of India.
