If you had to adapt a book for TV/cinema, which one would it be?

And above all, will you be faithful to the literary work or will you make a free interpretation?

I will choose Edom by Jules and Michel Verne, which is a very interesting short novel exploring themes such as the dangers of nature, reflection on spirituality and civilization

Maybe adapting it as a series and perhaps make a free interpretation of it to make it more current

yes, it would undoubtedly be a hit at the box office given the popularity of Agatha Christie.

I know that Hollywood Jurassic Park is a reinterpretation of the book, the novel is much darker and brutal than the film. it's an interesting idea to make a faithful adaptation
@CSKA_Moscou there is also a really nice comic book I read parts of (though it isn't for younger audiences since it is a horror comic) it is called everything is fine
It would be a hit if it was made into a movie

I'm going to try to get it, this book seems to me to be very interesting - between St Exupéry and Umberto Eco. thank you for introducing me to it.

the new film about the Count of Monte Cristo did not completely convince me, I found it too “general audience"
