I'm Mira Mirano from the Philippines, i'm 24 years old and graduated in Dela Salle University-Manila. My father introduce me to play chess and take a bonding as well. I take chess enjoyable and professionally because I love the game.
About me
Playing experience
I started playing chess tournament when I was 7 years old. Then, I won in playing National age group chess tournaments and represents our country to play chess in Asean age group in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, in year 2007 until 2017 I played in Malaysia. My first time playing in World Youth chess in Turkey year 2007. My best win is against WIM Beverly Mendoza in year 2012 in Boracay Island. I got my title in Asean Age Group chess Championship in Vietnam year 2012, it was a great experience for me to play chess and to represent our country. I aimed the Most Valuable Award and Athlete of the Year award in De La Salle University year 2019.

Teaching methodology
First, to communicate my students to know their chess capacity and knowledge. Second, to give them idea by introducing chess pieces, strengths and weaknesses. Third, to give them an exercises/puzzles. Next, to take a lesson about mating, opening and theory. And lastly, to play with them.
