Introduction

We aim to host free tournaments for an international audience and reduce financial barriers for people worldwide in chess. The National Chess Blasters offers a variety of tournaments: the National Open Blitz, Weekend Kickoff Championship, Grand Chess Championship, Chessmood Prize Championship, and hundreds of team battles. We have partnered with ChessMood to give individuals free access to select high-quality chess courses created by grandmasters. Team Battles:

Being part of the National Chess Blasters allows you to participate in team battles where you can verse 100-200 other teams. Additionally, you can score points for the National Chess Blasters by winning games. Our leaders schedule and coordinate team battles with other teams at least once a week.

Celebrate a Birthday with NCB!:

National Chess Blasters members can have a special team battle/swiss tournament made for their birthday. Instructions on how to sign up are in the forum. Please message HonoringStar40 for more information.

10,000 Member Celebration:

The National Chess Blasters hosted a record-breaking invitational team battle on April 6, 2024, with 395 participants and 117 teams to celebrate the team reaching 10,000 members, a milestone only reached by a select few teams. The players in the team Torneos Blitz de 5 + 3 dominated the team battle, finishing first place with 680 points. The National Chess Blasters weren't too behind, placing second place with 535 points and Metro placed third place with 388 points. As for individual scores, ATG_Eclipse of the National Chess Blasters dominated, achieving the highest individual score of 200 points.
