I am Nino Khomeriki, Women Grand Master, from Georgia. I'm an active, professional chess player. I've been playing chess for many years. Currently, I'm working as a chess coach.
About me
Playing experience
I am 10 times National champion, member of Georgian Olympic Team. I won European championship twice under 18 age of category. Besides, I tied first place at World youth chess championship and got bronze medal at World Junior Chess Championship. I am a winner of many international tournaments. I'm in Top 10 at National level. I'm also a winner Philadelphia Open 2019. My current Fide raiting is 2319.
Teaching experience
My chess coaching experience counts 4 years. Currently, I'm a chess coach at one of the prestigious school in Georgia. I've been working with kids as well as adults.
Other experiences
I was a commentator several times at Georgian Chess TV.
Best skills
As a teacher I see myself responsible, hard worker and caring person. I love my job and I want to share all of my experience to my students.
Teaching methodology
My approach to every my student is individual. My priority is to find strength and weaknesses of my students and improve it. My teaching methodology covers every aspect of chess, I'll provide for my students basics of chess like: calculation techniques, basic strategy and theoretical endgame, as well as opening preparation. My goal is to enrich my student's understanding of chess and their thinking process.
