Best skills

I have a very well-rounded repertoire however I am especially accomplished playing the London System, the Torre System, the Grunfeld, and the Caro-Kann. My current students love asking questions during sessions and my lessons are very dynamic and tailored to each student's goals, abilities, and style of play.

Teaching methodology

With each new student, I ask for them to send me a few of their recent games before we start our first lesson. It's important that I understand your abilities, style of play, and your Chess goals.

From that starting point, I create a learning curriculum that promotes your development and improves your fundamental decision-making process. You will see greater gains in your ELO and skill applying this in practice, especially when compared to focusing on memorization of openings and middlegame plans.

I host my lessons on Skype using ChessBase and often ask to watch my students play while they explain their moves.
