An experienced coach, aka sherlok7 ( you can contact me at sherlok7@gmail.com) I have given lessons and conducted master-classes all over Europe and North America. I live in Edmonton, Canada. Apart from chess, I specialize in writing and translating.
Playing experience
An IM with 3 GM norms, I played for Canada at the 2012 Chess Olympiad in Istanbul, as well as participated in a number of international tournaments. Among my most memorable achievements are two draws against the current number 2 in the world Wesley So (both in 2013)
Teaching experience
26 years of honing a teaching system I had developed.
Best skills
Chess is a logical game, and it's logic that is I help my students to develop and put to good use.

Chess pieces is all we have as players - so I teach to understand the pieces and their needs.
