Hi, My name is Waseem Akram. I am 41 years old. I am from Lahore, Pakistan. I am a graduate. I have been teaching chess as a subject in a school located in Lahore, Pakistan since 2017 and also coaching chess to students of universities since 2013.

I am playing professional chess since 2001.
- Won first national master title in 2004.
- Won second national master title in 2006.
- Represent Pakistan in Parsvanath chess championship Delhi 2006
- Won third national master title in 2008
-Represent Pakistan in Parsvanath chess championship Delhi 2008
- Won Pakistan open chess championship 2010
- Won forth national master title 2010.
-Represent Pakistan in chess Olympiad khanty mansiysk,Russia 2010
-Won international candidate master title in khanty mansiysk,Russia 2010
-Won fifth national master title 2014
-Qualify for 41st chess Olympiad Tromso, Norway 2014.

I have been teaching chess since I was 28.

My school students became U8, U10, U12, U14 national chess champions. My seven students from the U8, U10, U12, U14 categories were selected for the Pakistan national team and represent Pakistan in the western Asia chess championship, Maldives in June 2022.

My university students have won 5 gold medals and two silver medals in the last nine years.
