I'm a retired Accelerator Physicist/Engineer. I'm an old slow thinker, so I don't like fast time controls. My favorite players are Robert James Fischer, followed by Jose Raul Capablanca and Paul Charles Morphy. My favorite opening for White is sometimes the Colle, and sometimes I like the Hippopotamus Defense for Black. But not always.
